BREAKING: All Nintendo Online Services To Be Shut Down For Two Weeks

nintendo eshop downBREAKING: Nintendo expected to shut down all online services for two weeks during summer cleaning of server room.

In a move that will surely anger gamers across the country, an internal memo from Nintendo was leaked indicating that the server room used to host all of Nintendo’s online services is in need of a major cleaning, and as a result, the server room will need to be shut down to “move equipment around.”

The original memo is written in Kanji and was supposedly translated by a Japanese exchange student hired on Fiverr, then distributed via Twitter before being picked up by Reddit.

The Gaming Free Press reached out to Nintendo for comment and they have yet to get back to us.

We want to hear your thoughts.  Should Nintendo really inconvenience their consumers by shutting down their online services just so they can clean a server room?  Is this all just an elaborate hoax perpetrated by some PlayStation or Xbox fanboy?
